About Us

Stonybrook Center, Inc. opened its doors on January 2, 2010.  We moved to our current location in 2016.  We employ physicians, nurses, social workers (LSW/LCSW), professional counselors (LPC/LCPC), and certified alcohol and drug abuse counselors (CADC).

We have participated in several university research studies and we are available for training seminars for any public group who would like to learn more about addiction and recovery, opioid use disorder, and/or our global approach to treatment.  

We believe that patients have their best chance at recovery from opioid use disorder in a comprehensive methadone program.

We accept the following PPO plans:

• Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL
• United Health Care
• Cigna
• Aetna  

We accept some HMO plans with a referral from a primary care physician.

We also accept Medicaid and most Medicaid MCO plans including:

• Blue Cross Community Health Plan
• Meridian
• Molina
• Aetna Better Health

Please note we do NOT accept:

• Medicare
• MMAI plans
• County Care

Please call us and we will help you determine coverage.  

We will also assist with arranging free transportation for patients with Medicaid MCO plans whenever possible.
